Joy Princely-Abutu is a seasoned legal practitioner and the current Head of Practice at Crest and Waterfalls Consulting, where she provides strategic legal advisory and leads the firm’s legal, administrative, and regulatory operations.
With over seven years of experience in legal practice and corporate compliance, Joy has developed a broad practice spanning corporate and commercial law, regulatory compliance, property law, consumer protection, and corporate governance. She has extensive experience advising individuals, businesses, and organisations on legal and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on providing practical, commercially sound solutions to complex legal challenges.
Her practice includes drafting and reviewing commercial and legal agreements, preparing regulatory and enforcement petitions, and providing advisory services on corporate and compliance matters. She also has significant experience with corporate registrations and regulatory filings.
In addition to her legal expertise, Joy is a strong administrator and people manager.
In her leadership role, she oversees teams, coordinates workflows, manages competing priorities, and fosters a professional and productive working environment. Her ability to organise people and processes, delegate effectively, and maintain high standards of accountability enables her to provide effective leadership while ensuring the efficient delivery of the firm’s services.
